Backgammon - Classic Dice Game App Reviews

Really enjoyed this game but now I find that in hard mode there is no way to win. The die rolls favour the CPU every time. Ill keep it on my device for two person pay until I find a better app.

I enjoy the game but there are way too many ads. Very annoying. I am deleting this app off my phone because of the ads.

Well, the gameplay is pretty good, though on Hard mode the rolls definitely favor the CPU. The problem is the constant ads. The game was fun to play... then they added every time you started the game & after every match. Fine. Now there is at least an ad when u log in, after every game in a match, after every match, and seemingly some other arbitrary times. It just isnt playable any more. Disappointing really as people who try the app will delete it before learning if the game suits them or not for all the freaking ads!!!

The game is okay as a learning tool, but the roll of the dice favours the computer, especially once youre past the basic level.

WAY WAY WAY TOO MANY ADDS!!! This game would be awesome except for the ridiculous amount of advertising. Having to watch video clips??? Really???!!! The gameplay is a little clunky and slow and you will always lose cause the computer get double when the dice are rolled about 75% of the time. I gotta say, if there was no advertising and the play was a little faster and the game was fair... Which it isnt... I would may 99 cents for it but not a penny more...

Message to advertisers: because your ads are so annoying as to make the game almost unplayable, I totally ignore them. So if youre paying to advertise here, save your money! Now that the game crashes or doesnt load at all I am deleting it!

Ive had this app for the longest time. But now, the more time passes, the worst its becoming. The number of adds is crazy, and now with 15 seconds video??? What is that? And since a few weeks, the app keeps crashing pretty regularly, as if embedded in the apps code!, gotta to close and reopen my iPad each time. Not worth playing anymore, too frustrating.

The gane keeps freezing and blocking. Impossible to play, had to reinstall several times over the last days. Dont waste your time.

This used to be a great app. The ads were at the top and came up between games. Now the game swings you to the AppStore half the time just when you roll the dice. Then when you try to play it just swings you to the AppStore again. Far to disruptive.

Since you added the far to many Adverts. Someone failed in the coding and have buggered the pip rack for the Whites so now when white is going off half of the pip rack is in the middle. My wife and I really enjoyed the countless hours of backgammon but now that you have completely flooded the game with advertisement you can stick this one up your A**

This update has too many flaws to list and makes the game almost unplayable. We can only hope that the next update fixes everything that is wrong. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Good job, you had one thing to do. Now can someone fix the game so you can remove tiles from the game!

This was not designed by someone who plays a lot of backgammon. Lacking strategy, especially with gambling die.

Amazing how this game can repeatedly string together such an impossible series of rolls for the come-from-behind win. Not very fun when that happens. I wont be playing again.

I love the UI and the way the game functions but please let me buy out of all the advertising.

If youre a good player and understand strategic playing, dont waste your time on this game. It does not use any kind of random number generation, but gives itself the exact numbers it needs to hit, get back on the board, escape difficult situations and roll off faster. You cannot play the computer with this game by applying probability thinking.

This app is so horrible, so awful-do yourself a favour and dont waste your time. Each time you open it up to play a game it keeps you hostage with at least two consecutive 20+ second commercials that cant be closed down. Its so filled with advertising that its essentially unplayable.

No complaints about this game at all. I play at the highest level and need to stay on my toes to win. Its fast paced playing, and the programs logic makes you strategize as much as you can when you play backgammon.

Only flaw is you can backup more than one turn.
